Program Director- Social Services at Eliot Community Human Services

Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a Program Director for its Social Services residential program, which provides immediate, short-term placement and specialized support for children aged 0-12. These children have experienced traumatic events. The role involves facilitating a positive, trauma-informed healing environment that promotes child development, growth, and skill-building. The Program Director will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations (DCF, DEEC, contracts), and supervise staff. This includes training, performance evaluations, and professional development. The role also involves assisting youth with treatment and crisis plans, facilitating access to community resources, and building partnerships with service providers. Creating a structured and supportive environment, developing youth schedules that incorporate educational, vocational, recreational, and life skills goals, and participating in an on-call rotation for crisis response are also key components.
