This role is responsible for leading and overseeing Planned Parenthood of Michigan's (PPMI) comprehensive compliance, ethics, and risk management programs. The Director will provide strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure the organization upholds the highest standards of ethical conduct, regulatory adherence, safety, and accountability. This position involves close collaboration with executive leadership to shape policy and foster a strong culture of compliance and ethical practice throughout the organization. As Deputy Compliance Officer and Deputy HIPAA Privacy Officer, the Director will ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory frameworks and advance ethical practices across PPMI's operations. The role requires evaluating organizational risk exposure, developing mitigation strategies for legal, operational, and reputational risks, and managing incident response processes. The Director will also be responsible for reporting on compliance and risk trends to the Board of Directors and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making. A key aspect of this position is driving continuous improvement in compliance and risk management processes to support PPMI's mission.
