Senior Prompt Engineer, Pega Blueprint at Pegasystems

As a Senior Prompt Engineer at Pegasystems, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing prompts, prompt frameworks, and overall prompt strategies for Pega Blueprint. This role involves designing, testing, and building software components essential for prompt execution and testing, with a strong emphasis on creating and developing agents and multi-agent solutions. You will collaborate closely with data experts to ensure prompt development is scalable, ethical, and effectively evaluated. Your work will involve creating prototypes and proofs-of-concept for innovative ideas, driving advancements in prompt engineering through research and education, and partnering with product managers to translate these ideas into shippable solutions. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences is crucial for success in this role. The role requires at least 5 years of development experience, preferably in product development, with a strong foundation in programming languages like Python and Java. A critical aspect of this position is being a strong problem-solver and critical thinker with in-depth knowledge of prompt engineering, optimization, and multi-agent solutions. Proficiency with various LLM versions and understanding their trade-offs, along with harnessing multi-modal and streaming capabilities of modern LLMs, is essential. Familiarity with tools like Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is also expected.
