Senior Program Manager, Policy Implementation at Discord

This role at Discord focuses on establishing and leading the Policy Implementation function within the Trust & Safety Strategy & Operations team. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the operational execution that translates policies into scaled enforcement across the Discord platform. This involves owning the end-to-end delivery of policy operationalization, ensuring consistent enforcement of new and updated policies, and successfully launching them. The role requires developing repeatable practices that integrate policy implementation into Discord's standard launch processes. The Senior Program Manager will develop deep expertise in Discord's enforcement ecosystem and serve as the primary point of accountability for operational readiness. This will involve close coordination with various teams including Trust & Safety Operations, Platform Policy, Product, Engineering, and Legal. A key aspect of the role is designing and implementing comprehensive tracking systems and standardized documentation to monitor progress through all phases of policy implementation, from preparation to post-launch optimization. The role also necessitates partnering with Product and Engineering to address technical gaps and dependencies, ensuring timely and effective policy enforcement.
