Key responsibilities include managing and mentoring frontline fundraisers, fostering a high-performance, mission-driven culture, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment and impact. The role also involves representing Americares regionally, increasing visibility through events and strategic partnerships, and actively modeling Americares' values and work culture. A key outcome in the first 90 days is to learn and live the Americares values, demonstrate understanding of the organization's programs and strategic priorities, and begin donor outreach. The Senior Director will also be responsible for establishing strong relationships with key donors and prospects, developing multi-year donor plans, and engaging regional board members in fundraising efforts.
